Mission

FD(UK)’s mission is to provide support  and fundraising activities for all programmes undertaken by FD (Cambodia).

Feeding Dreams (UK) is committed to ensuring that every child has the equal right to enjoy a quality education, and believes that this is the route out of poverty and the basis for sustainable development

Where We Operate

Feeding Dreams (UK) is a registered UK charity based in the UK. We support the work of Feeding Dreams Cambodia and their established programmes in Siem Reap province.  This northwest province is world-famous for the Angkor temple ruins.  Despite its growing tourism industry, Siem Reap continues to be among the five poorest provinces in Cambodia.  The majority of Siem Reap’s population has not completed primary education. Poverty remains a major issue in this area.

History

In 2019, Schools for Children of Cambodia (SCC) changed it's name to FEEDING DREAMS (UK). SCC worked with three schools then later three partner NGOs based in Cambodia. However, it became more evident that much of the good work supported, was done through Feeding Dreams based in Siem Reap. AFESIP and VDCA are both linked to charities more suited to their current programmes.  Since the name was no longer relevant to the partner agencies in Cambodia, it was officially changed, with Charity Commission approval, to better reflect the work done. This decision was felt to be in the best interests of the maximum number of children in Cambodia.
