Feeding Dreams Cambodia is a community school for poor children. Cambodia's education sector remains blemished by limited access, inadequate school facilities and high dropout rates. Poverty and opportunity costs channel many children away from school, with many as young as 12 years old entering the labour market.
Malnutrition rates in Cambodia remain high. Feeding Dreams Cambodiaaddresses these issues of access and quality by helping poor children realize their right to quality basic education. A daily on-site hot nutritious meal is provided to students, providing vital nourishment, acting as a safety net for poor families and helping keep children in school.
